Meet Ener-G-Africa’s Blantyre shop Manager

We are thrilled to welcome Patricia Mlauzi as the Shop Manager for the newly launched Ener-G-Africa Blantyre shop, located at Ginnery Corner, Mall of Africa.

Patricia is no stranger to Ener-G-Africa, she joined the team in September 2023 as a shop attendant at the Chinsapo shop in Lilongwe.

“This new role as Shop Manager for the Blantyre Flagship shop has marked a significant milestone in my career, providing me with the opportunity to manage a large-scale retail operation whilst also continuing to engage with communities surrounding the city,” says Patricia.

She adds that since the shop launched in May 2024, the customer response has been overwhelmingly positive.

“Many customers have expressed their excitement about having a new store in their area and appreciate the modern design of our products,” Patricia adds.

Ener-G-Africa manufactures sustainable energy solutions to help lessen the use of charcoal and firewood in Africa (cutting down on greenhouse gas emissions and carbon dioxide inhalation) and increase access to clean and renewable energy.

These clean energy stoves, predominantly used by women, improve livelihoods by reducing the time spent cooking and the risks associated with collecting firewood and smoke-related illnesses (as the stoves emit fewer pollutants than traditional cooking methods).

Beyond this, Ener-G-Africa improves the lives of women in Africa, like Patricia through skills development.
